To facilitate the process, we created an Energy Management Program under the following pillars:
Comprehensiveness: Assess energy consumption
Sensitization: Raising awareness about energy consumption in the activities and decisions of the company.
Training: Train employees on best practices to achieve better results with lower energy impact.
Perseverance: We understand that programs take time, involve changes in human behavior and the results are achieved progressively.
Our goal is to reduce the energy consumption by 10% from Baseline year (2012) and so far we have reduced it almost 4%
As daily activities we make sure to
- Turn off the light in all empty rooms
- Use natural light as much as possible
- Use public transportation or bike instead of our car
- Use telecommuting when allowed
- Use teleconferencing to save travel
- Use energy saving light bulbs
